Our CLass offerings

You’ll find a variety of classes to choose from at Rebel Soul Yoga, from restorative to vinyasa, morning and evening we’ve got something that will work for you.

Flow + Align

Awaken the body and spirit in this JOYFUL morning class. You will enjoy a smooth energizing flow promoting a heightened sense of awareness and well=being to begin your day. An all-levels class.

GENTLE YOGA

Suitable for all levels. A restful, calming class including breathing, gentle flowing movements, passive and supported poses. This is a perfect beginning yoga class that is also appropriate for those working with injury, limited mobility, or who prefer a softer, gentler approach to yoga. 90 min.

GENTLE YOGA

Class begins with simple instructions and 30 minutes of silent meditation followed by discussion. If people new to practice join the practice, careful attention is paid to any questions they may have about the practice of meditation. Everyone is welcome. There are blankets and bolsters available but yogis should fee free to bring their own cushion, bench or chair.

VINYASA

Suitable for all levels. In this class students will move through a sequence of poses, connecting breath and movement. Moving your body to the rhythm of your breath promotes circulation. The increase in fresh, oxygenated blood delivered to your muscles, organs and bones energizes the entire body. Class is creatively sequenced and different each time. This is a mixed level class that is accessible to everyone. Modifications are offered for beginners and experienced students always have the option to take on more advanced posture variations.

YIN

Suitable for all levels. Yin Yoga invites you to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. Yin is yoga at its coolest, deepest, quietest, stillest moments. This class will have you on the floor most of the time, using as many props needed to create as little effort while holding poses. Poses are held for 2-5 minutes allowing joints and fascia to release. This class will complement your Vinyasa practice and will open and release areas in need of more stretching.

YOGASHINE

YogaShine will be an all-levels slow flow Hatha yoga class incorporating seated and standing poses that flow gently from one to another.  Alignment cues, modifications, variations and props will be offered. Most classes will have a theme, with an emphasis on self-reflection, the basic principles of yoga, and finding our inner “shine”.
